Sometimes it's the remembering that's the hardest part! Have you ever walked into a room and not remembered why? Or turned around on your office chair to reach something, gotten interrupted and then blanked? Grrr.
Now then, tell me why we figure things out just as we're on our last trimester of life? Imagine what we could do if we could figure ourselves out and know about life when we're younger! I'm 32 and going, Lord, I've gone through 1/3 of my life (if I'm lucky). I'm making a determined effort to empower my son and give him a head start on life by avoiding my mistakes.
Let me tell you, this requires brutal honesty and some definite embarrassment. LOL
I have often swivelled my chair in the office to look or something and been distracted - and then completly forgotten what I turned to get. It is truly a "seniors" moment. But I'm allowed one-a-day. I'm 76! I like your blog.Cheers!
ReplyDeleteLOL My 8 year old has "senior" moments too. When is someone considered "old" nowadays? I'm thinking it's when we give up on life - give up on living - because I've seen 90+ year olds putting the "young'ns" to shame.I'm glad you like my blog, hope you'll come back often. =)
