Don't Get Run Over!

Many of us let fear of failure hold us back. We worry about what others will say or how they will mock us if we fail. We focus on how that would feel and decide we don't even want to go there.

So we don't even try.

Or, if we do try, we give a half-hearted effort so it won't hurt as much "if" we fail.

We plan to fail.

We set ourselves up for Plan B instead of investing 100% of ourselves into Plan A, our real dream.

Imagine you are walking along a gorgeous road, coming back to your dream home after a pleasant walk, when you notice a speeding delivery van headed your way. Even though you are headed in the right direction (your home), you will get run over if you don't move out of the way.

Life is the speeding delivery van with everything you have to do on it - all your tasks as a parent, spouse, professional, homemaker, everything. That road is your current path, where you are in your life. Don't let day-to-day living run you over.
