Ocean Exploration With Dr. Ballard

As part of our homeschool work today, we participated in a live Q & A session presented by the JASON Project on the science behind tsunamis.

JASON, of course, was founded by Dr. Robert Ballard. THE Dr. Robert Ballard. Explorer extraordinaire and discoverer of many things - including the Titanic.

The JASON Project connects students with scientists and researchers in real- and near-real time, virtually and physically, to provide mentored, authentic and enriching science learning experiences.

Did you know that one year of NASA funding can run JASON for 1,600 years? Yes, really!
