Since my disabled, terminally ill Uncle Tip passed away in March, I have to downsize and simplify. All our fulltiming plans had revolved around him and his medical needs (helios, prescriptions, etc.), I'm having to retool and revist all my research. New spreadsheets, new budgets, new appropriate rig layouts, etc. etc.

There's major survivor's guilt going on here. Uncle Tip dreamed of traveling all his life but didn't get to make it. On the other hand, have you ever felt someone smiling even though they aren't with you? I think that's how I'll feel when I share those spots with him. I will stop at those places that were picked just for him ... just for him. Vicarious travel. I do it all the time with all the wonderful RVer sites! =)

You know, I think I'd like to be an advocate for "disabled" travelers. When it comes down to brass tacks, we ALL have some disability or other. There are things even "normal" people find out of their ability. Whether that is the inability to bend for the morning paper, run, lift 50 pounds or to breathe without assistance .. they are all hurdles we work around to live our lives to the fullest. This is not to demean anyone's ability/disability in any way. I simply believe we really are all equal .. regardless of what we can and can't do.

Wishing you much peace, happiness and success,
My first post! Woohoo! =)

Okay, so here's the deal: I want to fulltime.

Um, yes. I am a 27 year old single mom, non-traditional college student (internet campus) and my son is 3. Yes, we do have 2 cats, 3 kittens, 1 dog and 1 puppy on the way (to be adopted). Yes, my "senior" mother (she's only 62) would be joining us from time to time. Yes, our current homeschool project is a small, portable (if need be) garden that my son is required to tend (hey, they are his plants! =).

Sounds impossible? Sounds a bit crazy?

That's what makes life so delicious: some things may be better, some things may be worse but when it comes down to it .. it's the experience that counts.

Wishing you much peace, happiness and success,
