If stuff looks a little weird for a bit, it's because I'm combining posts from Blogger, Tumblr and a couple of other WordPress blogs.

WordPress multisite has officially won me over. =)

Have fun, stay safe and God bless,

Forget "Girl, Interrupted", I'm starring in "Remodel, Interrupted"! LOL

If you've followed me for a bit, you know I have been working on my Mom's house.

The job entails the placement of new insulation, walls, ceiling, restoring the awesome wooden floor and a few other details. Oh yeah, the outside needs to be redone too.

Sooo ... here's what happened today (pics courtesy of my son's DS):

No, it wasn't while I was reliving my glory days as a contractor 10+ years ago. Contrary to what my camo pants may have you believer, it wasn't even while my son and I were out adventuring in the woods.

It happened when I went to rescue my Mom. (She'd locked herself out of her car 30+ miles away from home.)

Sure, I've been complaining about wanting time to just sit still and concentrate on my writing but this? This is so NOT what I had in mind.

We stuffed a new garbage bag with a spare pillow so the ice pack wouldn't ruin it. You can see my son's homeschool stuff strewn around me. It hurts to stand and write on the dry erase board I have for my son's homeschool lessons and I'm too short sitting down. Horrors! This was our best alternative.

Ironic, isn't it? I thank God I wasn't injured by tools, a utility knife or falling drywall or something. I have to admit though. I'm kinda embarrassed that I injured myself doing something simple. Walking to greet my Mom.

Have fun, stay safe and God bless,
Penny

We're always on the lookout for Awesome Kids to profile. Kids who are doing things no one imagined they would, inspiring other kids to go out and conquer their world.

One group of Awesome Kids are kids we like to call "Kidpreneurs". Kids who became successful entrepreneurs (or kids who want to be!).

Of course, when we ran across a list of "Top 10 Teenagers Who Made Their First Million Online", you know we just had to share!

Read this: Top 10 Teenagers Who Made Their First Million Online

While this article doesn't go into much depth on the teens they are spotlighting, it does give a nice general overview and links to their sites.

Have fun, stay safe and God bless,

Things are changing. Pop culture, the seasons and now this blog!

Although I'm still involved with tech and the interwebz, my work has transitioned from do-it-for-you to teach-you-how. Instead of just deleting this blog though, I've turned it into an educational podcast hosted at PoweredByPenny.com.
